| Breaking News |  | Friday, August 27th, 1920: Amsterdam Befuddled by Ozeretskovsky The Moscow Proletariat posted a 2-0 shutout over Amsterdam today on the strength of a strong performance by Spartak Ozeretskovsky. The Proletariat pitcher held the Admirals to 5 hits while walking 3 and fanning 1 in the route-going win.

The Amsterdam pitcher mystified the Revolutions in a strong performance. He gave up 6 hits and totaled 1 walk and 2 strikeouts.
His manager said, "Yannick had them chasing a lot of pitches and turning around and saying 'wow'... we were thinking the same thing, too. It was something special to watch."

He has pitched 97.2 innings, allowed 88 hits, struck out 22 and has a 3.32 ERA. |  | Saturday, August 14th, 1920: Rudnev Dominates Admirals in Shutout The Amsterdam Admirals were almost helpless today in their 4-0 loss to Moscow hurler Panas Rudnev. He kept them confused the entire ballgame and spun a 6-hit shutout.
The Amsterdam manager said in the postgame interview, "Tip your hat to Rudnev. He kept us off balance all night."
Rudnev said, "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play. It was just one of those games that things went my way."
He had 2 walks and no strikeouts in a strong performance.
