| Breaking News |  | Monday, October 4th, 1920: Francisco Ramos Suffers Injury Mexico City fans will be disappointed to learn that Francisco Ramos developed an oblique strain while throwing a pitch in today's game. After the doctor informed the Mexico City Aztecs manager that Ramos was expected to miss 1-2 weeks, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the reliever could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper.
Season-to-date Ramos has 1 save in 16 relief appearances with a 1-2 record and 1.43 ERA. |  | Wednesday, September 29th, 1920: Dorsey Hurls US Army to Shutout Victory Magic was in the air and on the mound at Baseball Engineers Ballpark today as Wyatt Dorsey held Mexico City spellbound in his 3-0 shutout victory. The US Army pitcher went the route, ran up no strikeouts, walked 1 and held the Aztecs to 4 hits to garner the win.
In 1920 Dorsey has logged 15 wins and 9 losses and struck out 100 batters in 218.2 innings while compiling a 3.13 ERA. |  | Tuesday, August 31st, 1920: Díaz out for 3 Weeks Edgar Díaz of the Mexico City Aztecs was injured in today's game against Sydney and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a fractured wrist and he is expected to be out for up to 3 weeks. It happened while Díaz was being hit by a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field."
