The Athens Philosophers starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Paris Revolutions and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Antonakos was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as back spasms and stated that he would not be able to play for 8 months.
To date in 1920, Antonakos has registered 9 starts, 1-5 won-lost mark, 8.15 ERA, 53 IP, 5 strikeouts and 23 walks. Opposing teams have hit .359 against him. | |
