League of Nations News Article | |  | Wednesday, July 28th, 1920: Robin Tamburrino Lost for Season The season is apparently over for Robin Tamburrino. The Sydney Outback medical staff informed the club that the third baseman will be out at least 2-3 months with a torn back muscle. Tamburrino was hurt in the game against Tokyo while throwing the ball. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season.
To date, Tamburrino has collected 111 hits for a .271 average. He has posted 4 home runs, scored 71 runs and driven in 46 runs. | |
